Redmi Buds 3 TWS headphones review: expectations

Redmi Buds 3 is the company's new generation of fully wireless earbuds. They received a design familiar from the apple version of TWS headphones. At Xiaomi, all headphones gradually acquired original features, but for budget solutions, the approach is still fair.
Design and equipment
Headphones are made in white, in a glossy plastic case. They are not afraid of a small amount of moisture and dust thanks to the IP54 certification.
There are proximity sensors on the inside of the earbuds that allow you to pause playback when the earbuds are taken out of your ears. On the outside, there is a touch area, with taps on which you can switch tracks, start and stop playback / accept and reject calls.
Headphones received a noise reduction system. Therefore, in the body of each there are two microphones. The main one is located at the bottom end of the legs, next to the charging contacts. And the second one is decorated with a round mesh on the outside, next to the notch of the sensory zone.
The case has a minimum of elements. On a wide plane there is a round button to activate pairing and an LED next to it. On the bottom end is a USB Type-C charging port. To pair with a smartphone, you need to hold down the only button on the case body and do not forget to first remove the stickers from the headphone contacts.
System and work
Redmi Buds 3 has 12mm speakers. In terms of sound, the headphones were able to surprise. Considering that this is an overhead form factor, the bass in them should practically not be felt. However, if you manage to fit them tightly enough in the auricle, some low frequencies appear. Otherwise, this is rather a high-quality stereo headset for every day with the ability to listen to music in acceptable quality.
For daily use, the model is revealed due to the presence of noise reduction. In such a building, his work has its own nuances. First of all, because the sound insulation here is not the best for constructive reasons. In addition, some ambient sounds are muffled a little strangely. However, the very presence of noise cancellation already has a positive effect on comfort during conversations, especially in moderately noisy environments.
Implemented support for True Wireless Mirroring technology to ensure synchronous sound transmission between the headphones and improve the stability of the connection. In practice, we noticed that yes, the problem of audio out of sync, which was in the first models of Xiaomi TWS headphones, has already been solved.
In terms of autonomy, this model does not set records, but has acceptable performance for a couple of working days. Headphones work up to 5 hours from their own batteries and get up to 20 more hours when charging in a case. There is support for fast charging: 10 minutes is enough to extend the work by 1.5 hours.
Impression
Redmi Buds 3 turned out to be a worthy continuation of the company's budget line of wireless headphones. They got rid of technical flaws and at the same time, they gained a set of useful features, such as noise reduction. Let the design surprise no one, but these are still verified and verified forms, so if the format of the inserts suits you, you should pay attention to them as an everyday solution.
